R.I.P. J.D. Salinger

J.D. Salinger passed away earlier today. He was 91. We're sure he's in resting peacefully in a tucked-away corner of heaven.

Yes, Salinger was best known for writing The Catcher in the Rye, but did you know that he also fathered Captain America? That's his son, Matt, as the Cap in the 1990 Hollywood disaster Captain America.

  1. WOW. Stealing Ned Beatty's car AFTER BEING RESCUED BY HIM, then using the same lame I'm-gonna-be-sick trick to keep someone out of "danger"? Seems to me Captain America's a bit of a dick.

  2. Yeah, stealing cars from the elderly and leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere is about as un-American as it gets.

  3. Greetings from your worst friend!
